Graft

Definition

(formal, technical) To join or unite a part of one plant onto the root system of another plant, especially to produce a new plant with desirable qualities; to take a part of a living tissue or organ and transplant it into another part of the body or into another individual. In a broader sense, to join or unite two things, especially in a way that is not natural or expected.
