Blister

Definition

(medical) A small bubble of fluid that forms on the skin, often as a result of friction, burns, or other injuries. (rare) A container or package, especially one that is sealed and airtight, used to protect and preserve the contents. (technical) A raised area or bubble on a surface, especially one that is caused by the expansion of air or gas beneath it.
