Dip

Definition

To lower something, especially your head or body, into a liquid, or to move your hand or an object into a liquid and then take it out again, often in order to cover or wet it; a downward movement, especially a sudden one, in the level or amount of something, or a small amount of a liquid or semi-liquid substance, especially one that is used for food or as a treatment for the skin.
