Fold

Definition

To bend something, especially paper or cloth, so that one part covers another or becomes smaller; (of a business) to fail and close down.

1She folded the letter and put it in the envelope.

2Can you fold this map so it fits in my pocket?

3The laundry was still wet, so I had to fold it and put it back in the dryer.
