Smoke

Definition

The gas that comes from something that is burning, or the act of burning something, especially tobacco, to breathe in the gas for pleasure.

1The fire in the fireplace is producing a lot of smoke.

2Do you see the smoke coming from the chimney?

3She did not like the smell of smoke in the restaurant.

4Please do not smoke in the car.

5There is a smoke alarm in every room of the hotel.
